The Forum has many opportunities from staying informed to attend the evening to helping plan the forum, help mobilize attendance from a Pierce County District to volunteering to help set-up and/or during the evening of the forum! Pick what's best for you.
Planning Committee Members attend Planning Committee Meetings online or in-person (see the Calendar page) to help plan the Forum. This committee seeks wide representation of community partners to help think, plan, welcome and convene the forum. Meetings will be about 60-90 minutes long with at least 7 dates, possibly more! Regular attendance will be helpful.
District Captains There will be a total of 8 District Captains who will be responsible for coordinating efforts among volunteers in their district to contact their Legislator, encourage their attendance, provide information to them and their staff. In addition, District Captains will help recruit, support and contact their District Volunteers who will help encourage residents from that District to attend, share information about the Forum and urge District Residents to thank and encourage their Legislators to attend.
District Volunteers Individuals willing to help mobilize attendance from residents in their District and their District's Legislators. District Volunteers play an essential role in providing information, getting the word out, encouraging attendance and sharing with their District Captain(s) attendance, questions, and other key information to improve the Forum.
